LLUMBINI (Sanskrit for "the lovely") Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was bron in 623B.C.In the famous garden in Lumbini.Lumbini is a very spritual Buddhist pilgrimage site located at the Nepalese town of Kapilavastu, district Rupandehi, near the Indian border.Lumbini is one of four pilgrimage sites based on major events in the life of Gautama Buddha on the Buddha trail.
BBODH GAYA Buddha left his trail nearly 2500 years ago while travelling in the quest of enlightenment, Bodhgaya is one of the most important and sacred Buddhist center.It was here under a banyan tree, the Bodhi Tree, Gautama attained supreme knowledge to become Buddha,the Enlightened One. The serenity of the atmosphere remains in the subconscious soul of any visitor.

RRAJGIR Prince Siddhartha (early name of Lord Buddha) came to Rajgir, The name of the town has been derived from the words 'Raj Griha', meaning 'the abode of the king' after he renounced the luxuries of life and undertook asceticism. Two of the rock-cut caves of Rajgir were the favorite retreats of the Buddha. It was here that He preached two of his most renowned sermons
SSRAVASTI Buddha spent 25 years living in the monastery of Jetavana. Many Vinaya rules, Jatakas and Sutras were first discussed at this place. The Buddha is supposed to have astonished rival teachers by performing miracles at Sravasti. It is said that it was in Sravasti that the Buddha transformed Angulimal from a dacoit into a Buddhist monk. He also delivered many important sermons here.
KKUSHINAGAR was a small town in the days of the Buddha. But it became famous when the Buddha died here, on his way from Rajgir to Sravasti. In 543 BC, on a full moon night of Magh the legend delivered lecture to his Sangha and declared that he is going to leave the mortal world soon enough. His last memorable words were, “All composite things decay. Strive diligently!”

T Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan to enshrine the body of his wife, Arjumand Bann Begum (Mumtaz Mahal) after she died in 1630.The construction started in 1632 and was completed in 1653. The workforce of some 20,000 included craftsmen from Italy, Persia and Turkey. It is built by the bank of the Yamuna river not very far from the Agra Fort.
